Hello pet lovers, my name is Meg. I opened Paradise Paws with the vision of providing a secure place for owners to leave their pets knowing they'd be leaving them in the care of someone who is trained and knowledgeable of the needs of their pets.
Excellence in care, safety, and keeping skills up to date are my top priorities. Paradise Paws offers reasonable pricing without sacrificing quality in love and passion for what we do and the pets we care for.
My experience started in South Carolina where I worked in a facility that housed over 100 dogs a night and about 20-30 daycare dogs a day. I also had to care for cats, fish, and even a tortoise! I had to work at a fast pace but also pay very close attention to detail of each pet such as medication and feeding as each individual (even in the same household) is completely different. With this strict experience, I opened Paradise Paws which has now expanded into the #1 Pet Resort in the area!

Who decided to put a Gen Z in charge?
My experience started as a child when my aunt owned a dog daycare. Pitties have a soft spot in my heart and I help with rescues when needed.
I started at Paradise Paws as an intern when I was in high school. Since then I have been back and forth between here and exploring other options.
Meg reached out in 2023 to let me know there was a Facility Management position available and I did not hesitate to say yes. I guess she really likes me. I truly love this place, the dogs and my staff. I'm here for the long term this time!

I've been with Paradise Paws for 3 years and have met some amazing dogs along the way. I recently had to have major knee surgery, but I'm excited to be back!

I've worked with many kennels, groomers, and along side Pit Bull Rescues. I've came to Paradise Paws to have the opportunity to expand my skills along side my daughter, Alize. Currently I groom, kennel tech, coordinate swim time, and home care services. Come see me! I'll be here!

I'm Alexis and I've been Paradise Paws for a year now but I'm also currently a student at Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI! I am majoring in Psychology with a minor in Legal Studies and a core concentration in American Sign Language!
